Support for timezone?

I have just joined, after listening to B2W #86 today on my drive back from Berne to Lausanne. Yes! There are some people listening also on the other side of the pond, believe it or not! :-D

And, for that matter, for us on this side of the pond, it would be great to be able to see the events in the calendar on a different timezone. I see Pacific…

Allow disabling the rich text editor

The rich text editor breaks standard things in OS X like ⌥⌦. I'd rather write in Markdown or some other disintermediated format than have the """"helpful"""" rich text editor undermining my editing. Also, I'm *pretty* sure the rich text editor was responsible for locking up the Safari tab where I was writing this the first time.

Favicon?

Would really appreciate a unique favicon for the community (or just for Igloo generally). I've got a bunch of icons in my Chrome bookmark bar, and the icon helps me tell them apart.

Please don't require Flash for things that don't need Flash

I posted this in my microbooger section, but then I figured out there was a dedicated area. The site required me to use Flash to upload an image into a post. There's literally no reason that this is required. At very least, a fallback should be available in the absence of Flash.

Text boxes and notifications

When posting replies or using the 'share a thought' box, it's pretty tough to see what I'm doing if there's a picture added to the mix.

It'd be great if they had that little dingus in the lower right (like this box I'm typing into now) that would allow me to expand the window and see everything inside. I know some interfaces don't really allow…

Profile photo upload was wonky for me

Trying to upload a profile photo.

Downloaded a 500x375-pixel jpg from my flickr stream.

Went to the Photo tab of the Edit Profile page.

Hit browse. Found downloaded photo. Clicked Open. Clicked "Upload File". Progress bar goes to 101% (sweet!) Then switches to a red bar that says "error" with no further explanation. No picture loaded into…
