Hey Jackals--

First time poster here.

A few months ago, Merlin posted something on...tumblr? I think? That essentially was a "Back to Work sampler," where he included some of the Best Of According to Him episodes.

I've been here since episode 1, but life took me away from podcasts for a while in the middle of the show's run.

Google has not…

Is it lack of 'Grit' or Laziness?

Two recent episodes of B2W addressed "Grit" (ep 87/88). I can align with a lot of what Merlin was saying in these two episodes. For instance, the learning to draw example - going out and buying the supplies, the pencils, the box for the pencils, the box for the pencil box...

I've done that a lot with things I wanted to do, learn, or accomplish.

I've been working remotely full time for almost four years. Before I started this gig, I thought the biggest challenges would be things like staying on task and getting the work done, dealing with too much email…

This jackal reminds me that Merlin's head is close enough to life size on the t-shirt, why not offer it up as a paper cut-out Halloween mask? Also, Jean Grey papercraft.

With all of Merlin's talk about Jean Grey, I'm curious which persona/incarnation of Jean Grey was the best and which was the worst.

Been out of comic books since the late 1990s/early 2000s, so far the ones I remember are: Marvel Girl (original X-Men), Jean Grey (X-Factor, Modern X-Men), Phoenix, Dark Phoenix, Black Queen (Mastermind), Madelyn…

So, erm. About the shirt.
